Hi All,
I am using dkret3 and I have used template-nosidebar.php.
This causes a bar across the bottom to show Recent Post then Calendar then Tags along the bottom of every page.
How can I remove this?
Cheers,
John

Hi John,
I have the same problem. I have checked your website and found out that you found a solution for this. Please can you update me with this.
Thanks in advance
Christian
Hi Kriese,
The site that it does not work on is still off line. The a second site that I used the same nosidebar job for DOES work? This make it harder still. The not working site will be on line tomorrow.
The working one is http://www.jb-comms.co.uk
the other one yet to be is http://www.naturalbuildingdesign.co.uk.
Cheers,
John
Now I understood your concern.
The "bar" is just a widgetized sidebar of dkret. The template no-sidebar.php means NO sidebar to the right.
Please just add ONE widget to the primary sidebar. The primary sidebar won't be shown. If you don't add at least ONE widget dkret uses a default setup.
Thanks Jörn!
Now it works perfect.
By the way is it possible to include at the bottom (where now is the widgetized sidebar)a image?
Thanks
Christian
Yes. As a background css image for the div "subsidiary".
div#subsidiary {
background: #fff url(library/images/subsidiary_footer.jpg) repeat-x;
}Hi Jorn,
Yes, it works. Thanks.
Cheers,
John
Hi All,
I have one more site using Dkret3 again and I am unable to get the nosidebar to work in only one place. The home page. The page is shown with the content of it not there and the Pages Primary sidebar visible. When I click on the menu item that should be the home page the Pages sidebar in removed and the page is seen as it should be. This is the link http://www.dporter-plumbing.co.uk/?page_id=115. The web site URL does not have the ?page_id=115 in it. This does not happen on my other site using Dkret3! In both cases the "Rename your Home link" is blank.
Cheers,
John
I don't understand your request.
Hi Jörn,
Using nosidebar works on every page except the home page when the url is first visited.
This is http://www.dporter-plumbing.co.uk. This shows the Pages side bar on the right.
When I click on the page that is the home page http://www.dporter-plumbing.co.uk/?page_id=115 is the url and this removes the Pages side bar.
On all pages I have selected nosidebar.
I have also removed the Start in dkret3 settings in "Remane your 'Home' link".
Cheers,
John
